HaikuWriMo Day Three

category: Music, Writing
by Soph,

autumn’s chill
turns the sycamore
a firey red

I had an audition for the chamber choir at university today. I thought it went quite badly because I have a terrible cold which is affecting my singing voice, but I got a phone call this evening saying they want me to sing first alto. Hoorah! The first rehearsal is tomorrow so I’m quite excited about that. I have another audition for the orchestra next Wednesday, wish me luck!

Neat Haiku. On a related note, I saw a 230 year old sycamore tree yesterday. It was brilliant and majestic.
