A quick haiku update
Sorry for the lack of posts recently - it’s been a busy week with all of my seminars starting at university, as well as lots of new music societies in the evenings. This blog will just be to put up my latest haiku from the HaikuWriMo, and I will write a proper entry when I have some time this week. Thanks for still visiting when I’m being inactive!
Day Eight:
old oak and I -
knotted bark
and wrinkled brow
Day Nine:
morning rain:
four ducks laughing
on the lawn
Day Ten:
October morning:
dewdrops slip
on spider strings
Day Eleven:
fire alarm at dawn:
dressing gowns float
in mist
Day Twelve:
autumn morning –
treetops disappear
in the mist
Day Thirteen:
a youngster plays
in the road –
grey squirrel
Day Fourteen:
falling shapes at my window:
bomber magpies
Day Fifteen:
foxes at midnight
scream
like children

wow, that’s an accomplishment.
my favourites are #9,10,14,15

Go! Now it’s sure you do it all the way!
Thanks for the encouragement, SzélsőFa!
Great work. I loved days 8 and 10 the best.
Good work with the poetry, keep it up! 8 is my favourite thusfar. But they’re all good too. 11 is something to empathise with for sure.
These are fantastic. My favourites are 10 and 14. Keep it up!
Thanks all, I’m glad you’re enjoying them!
I am so enjoying your haiku - they are absolutely beautiful!
Hope all is going well with the start of the new term!
